Van Werven Plastic Recycling Holding and EGLOG announced today the official opening of their new joint-venture plastic recycling plant in Talange, near Metz, in the Grand’Est region of France. The new company operates under the name Van Werven Plastic Recycling France SAS and marks an important milestone in strengthening circular plastic recycling solutions in the French market.
The facility focuses on processing rigid plastics from French Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) systems and construction and demolition waste collection streams. By transforming post-consumer plastic streams into high-quality recycled materials, Van Werven Plastic Recycling France helps manufacturers meet regulatory requirements and contribute to a more circular plastics value chain.

Phase 1 of the site is now fully operational, with a processing capacity of over 15,000 tons of rigid plastics per year. In the coming months, the partners will prepare for Phase 2 of the project, which will increase the site’s total capacity to over 30,000 tons per year, thereby strengthening the facility’s role in the French recycling market.
The joint venture combines Van Werven’s long-standing expertise in advanced plastic recycling technologies with EGlog’s strong local market knowledge and operational capabilities in France. Together, the partners aim to provide reliable, high-quality recycling solutions that meet strict environmental, industrial, and regulatory standards.

The new 25,000 m² site is equipped with modern processing technologies and is designed to operate in accordance with high environmental, quality, and safety standards.
